Help for students with Learning Differences and/or School Difficulties

In collaboration with the Lee Pesky Learning Center of Boise, Idaho, Three Rivers Montana has the ability to evaluate learning difficulties providing parents and students with plans to help students succeed academically.

  • Learning differences and disabilities are often at the root of behavioral and emotional difficulties.
  • Students with a variety of learning styles do well with experiential learning.
  • Students with learning difficulties often do well in wilderness programs.
  • We make sure that learning problems are assessed and addressed.
  • Our program addresses behavior that impedes learning.
  • Credits help students who have missed school or failed classes toward graduation.

Assessment/Evaluation

  • At parent's request, a complete learning evaluation and psychological assessment will be completed while the child is in the program.
  • Through a cooperative agreement with the Lee Pesky Learning Center, our organization receives state of the art consultation and training with regard to assessments, training of staff and the treatment of learning differences.
Three Rivers Montana is partnered with Blueprint Education, accredited by North Central Association-Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA-CASI), its umbrella organization, the Commission on International and Trans-regional Accreditation (CITA) and curriculum is approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for admission to all NCAA programs throughout colleges and universities.
