Job Position - Senior Field Instructor

Description
The Senior Field Instructor is responsible for supervising the direct care of one team of students. Areas of focus include: ensuring the health and safety of students, wilderness risk management, weekly travel and activity planning, programmatic implementation, coordination with Therapists and Team Leaders on student treatment progress.
The Senior Field Instructor acts as the supervisor of a team of Field Instructors. Areas of focus include: supervision and development of Field Instructors, identifying areas of needed training, and conducting written evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated, energetic, team player and success-oriented personality
• Experience working with youth at-risk in a backcountry setting
• Confidence in the ability to safely and effectively supervise student and instructor teams
• At least 21 years of age
• BS/BA degree
• Able to meet rigorous demands of position (e.g. hike 3-5 miles per day with a 65 pound pack)
• WFR or EMT certification
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen test and a background investigation
• Valid Driver's License

Salary:	$130.00/day
Benefits:	Available after 3 months employment

For PC users click on link D2 below to begin downloading the installer.

When prompted by the browser, save the installer to your computer desktop.
After the installer download is complete choose to run the software.
You will then need to UNZIP the files:

1. double click on TRMEmpApp-Win.exe.
2. UNZIP the files to your desktop. This will create the "TRMEmpApp " folder on your desktop.
3. The folder contains three files:
1. ReadMePC.pdf with instructions
2. FillerSetUp.exe for installing the application
3. and the Employment Application document for Three Rivers Montana.
4. Double click on ReadMePC.pdf for detailed instructions or double click on FillerSetUp.exe to install
5. Open the Employment Application to complete the form.
